  4. We will review your artwork, estimate any additional studio time that might be required and then send you over your full quote.
  5. If you are happy to proceed we will convert your quote to an order and send you a proforma invoice.
  6. We won't start printing until you are entirely happy!
  7. When your invoice is paid we will print your products and let you know when they are ready to ship or collect.
I don't know where to start!

Don't worry. We can take your artwork and turn it into a range of sellable and profitable products and deal with all the technical stuff for you!

We charge £25+VAT/hr studio time if you would like us to do things like remove backgrounds or work up your artwork into a beautiful product range from scratch. Most images batches need an hour or less of studio time, some just a few minutes. We'll give you an estimate when we see what we're working with! If you already have "print ready" files prepared then there are no set up fees.

Depending on the artwork we may also be able to scan / photograph your originals in order to create a digital file.

We are happy to give advice on what products might work best for your style of artwork.

Just get in touch and we'll talk you through it.

Do you charge set up fees?

There are ZERO set up fees if you provide us with print ready artwork, requiring no adjustments. Artwork guidelines are on every product page.

For customers who prefer not to get bogged down with the technical stuff, we charge £25+VAT/hr studio time. This covers jobs like removing backgrounds, adding text or logos, resizing, scaling, vectorizing or more complex edits.

Depending on the artwork we may also be able to scan / photograph your originals in order to create a digital file.

Most batches of images will need an hour or less of studio time and we will let you know how much we will charge before going ahead.

"PRINT READY" ARTWORK GUIDELINES

"Print Ready" files can be sent straight to our print room without needing any adjustments or modifications by us and incur no set up fees.

If you are providing print ready artwork please follow this guidance.

  • Artwork should be sized to fit the printable area detailed in the "Artwork Guide" section on each product page.
  • Files must be high quality and high resolution (300dpi at the printable size).
  • For products where edge to edge printing is offered, your artwork should include a 2mm bleed, in other words the file should be slightly larger than the printable area.
  • Keep any text or critical detail away from the very edge of your designs.
  • Placement of logos or images on the final product should be considered.
  • Artwork and logos that will not cover a product entirely should have a transparent background.
  • Files should be saved as high quality.jpg, .tiff (flattened) or .pgn
  • For accurate colours, printed products files should be in the sRGB colourspace, for GIclee prints please use AdobeRGB.
  • Please make sure that your monitor is calibrated so what you see on screen is accurate.
  • You don't need to add any crop marks.
  • We don't charge set up fees if you provide print ready artwork. For assistance with image preparation we charge a standard studio fee of £25+VAT/hr
What is your minimum order?

In order to offer the best prices, we ask that you order a minimum quantity of each product. This quantity differs for each product but ranges from 3-48 items per product. You can mix designs but we ask for a minimum order of each design. Again this varies from product to product.

We offer several taster packs including small quantities of our most popular products. You will be able to test how well they sell before committing to a full order.

We have no minimum order for larger sized Giclee prints or aluminium chromaluxe prints.

Placement prints vs edge to edge vs full wrap?

You might notice on our product pages we use the terms placement prints, edge to edge prints or full wrap prints. A placement print is a logo or artwork that doesn't entirely cover the full area of the product but rather is positioned within the printable area, on a transparent or white background. Products like our T-shirts can only be printed with placement prints which could be anything from a small logo to a large design. Products like coasters, tile art, slates and Giclee prints can be printed edge to edge, in other words there is no need for a border around your design as we can print over the entire product surface, just keep any text or important bits away from the edge. With mugs and other cylindrical products we use the term full wrap for printing top to bottom and up to a couple of cm either side of the handle.

The printable area is indicated on each product info page.

Can I ask for samples?

Samples are available for some products. We charge retail equivalent prices for samples. If any work is required to get your artwork files print ready we also charge our standard studio rate of £25/hr+VAT.

Consider one of our Taster Packs which allow you to try a small number of products without committing to our usual minimum order quantities.

Samples are not available for Giclee prints. If you are concerned about how your artworks will look, we advise first ordering prints in our smallest size before committing to large prints.

Sourcing other products & things we don't do

We are really good at finding new and interesting things to print on. Just ask us if you have something in mind.

We don't print paper products like greetings cards, stickers or calendars. We don't do etching, laser cutting, 3D printing, screen printing (although we offer great alternatives) or embroidery. We don't do large signage. We don't have capacity to sew products. We can put you in touch with folk who do all of these things!

What is a Giclee Print?

A Giclee is a digital print produced using a high resolution printing process which uses pigment (rather than dye) based inks and extremely high quality archival / museum grade paper to achieve prints of superior detail, light fastness and stability. We print on archival quality, acid free, fine art paper. When combined with our 12 colour pigment ink printing system, we can achieve wonderful colour reproduction and produce beautiful prints that will look as good as new for 80+ years.
